Find the feature you are looking for in one comprehensive list.

The GX is powered by a five-speed automatic Electronically Controlled Transmission (ECT).

For superior off-road handling, the available Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) frees the stabilizer bar so each wheel can respond to its terrain separately.

Before climbing a steep hill, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) [1] helps prevent the GX from rollback during the driver's movement from brake to accelerator.

The GX meets all the requirements to make it a certified Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV II).

The GX is powered by a V8 with 263 horsepower [2] and 323 lb-ft of torque [2].

Full-time 4WD features TORSEN® limited-slip center differential [3] for greater uphill agility.

Rear Adjustable Height Control (RAHC) allows the GX to be raised 1.6 inches for increased clearance or lowered 0.8 inches for easier loading and unloading.

These disc brakes are ventilated to help dissipate heat and improve braking performance.

Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) continuously adjusts the engine's intake valves to provide optimum power at any speed.

The Rear Air Suspension with auto leveling has air springs for an extra comfortable ride, no matter what the terrain.

Downhill Assist Control (DAC) [4] administers braking as needed when the GX descends a steep hill, helping to provide an even downhill speed.

The GX features an engine-speed-sensing, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system.

[1]HAC is designed to help minimize backward rolling on steep ascents. It is not a substitute for safe driving judgment and practices. Factors including grade, surface conditions and driver input can all affect whether HAC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner's Manual for further details. [2]Ratings achieved using the required premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. If premium fuel is not used, performance will decrease. [3]TORSEN® is a registered trademark of Zexel Torsen, Inc. [4]DAC is designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control and speed on steep downhill descents. It is not a substitute for safe driving judgment and practices. Factors including speed, grade, surface conditions and driver input can all affect whether DAC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner's Manual for further details.
